during peak hours
Beginning on May 2, all beaches are closed between 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Most county parks and trailheads, however, remain open to the public.
Santa Cruz County Health Officer urges residents to practice social distancing of six feet or more while spending time outdoors and to stay close to home.
